Mildred Nires, 90, of Sun Bird in Chandler, AZ passed away on Sat, April 25, 2015, while under the care of Sherman House, Hospice of the Valley. Millie will join her beloved Henry, her husband of 71 years who pre-deceased her 8 months before. She was also pre-deceased by her dear son Edward (Eddie) Nires. Millie was the proud Great Grandmother of Grayson and Rain, beloved grandmother to Corey Fogel, Courtney Townsend, Jill Fogel and Allison Peretz. Millie loved and lived for all her ‘children’. She is also survived by her daughters Tina Fogel and Lynda Peretz. Millie and Henry moved to Arizona almost 20 years ago from New York, where they lived most of their lives and raised their family. Millie and Henry loved their Sun Bird/Sun Lakes community and their friends and neighbors. A small family funeral will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015.
