Dawn Rosalie Loeffler, 79, of Mesa, Arizona succumbed to colon cancer on Monday, June 18th 2018 at home with her family by her side.

She was born on August 21, 1938 in Dover, New Jersey to Russell and Theresa McConnell. She married Ferdinand Eugene Loeffler in Dover, New Jersey in 1959. They had four sons, Gene, David, Brian and John. They moved to Mesa, Arizona in November 1975.

Dawn retired from Banner Baywood Radiology Department in December 2009, after 26 years. She spent her spare time enjoying and teaching crafts and sewing. Her family meant everything to her and surrounded herself with many friends. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help those in need.

She is survived by her sons David, Brian (Kelly), John (Denise). Grandchildren Brent (Jennie), Christopher, Luke, Jacob, Joshua (Bethany), Eric (Haley), Cody (Diane), Colton, Jessica and Katelyn. Great grandchildren Kora, Nathan, Kaleigh, Daniel, Brielle and Olivia. Her brothers Russell (Rose), Bruce (Debbie) and Bradd McConnell.

She is predeceased by her husband F. Eugene Loeffler, son Gene Loeffler and brothers John, Kenny and Roger McConnell.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 7900 E. Main Street in Mesa, Arizona 85207. Visitation begins at 9am and funeral services are at 10am.

Dawn’s gracious heart touched so many lives over the years. Her love, laughter, and heart will be missed by many.
