Passed Away on May 27, 2019


On Monday May 27th, 2019, Ruth A Ortegon, a courageous woman and mother of five passed away at the age of 89. Ruth was born May 22nd, 1930 in Indiana to Ivan and Mabel Pruett. Ruth was married three times and widowed twice. Her last marriage was to Margarito Ortegon better know as Mike who she referred to as the love of her life.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father Ivan, mother Mabel, first husband Earl Fancher, second husband William Morgan, third husband Mike Ortegon, youngest son Roger Morgan and youngest daughter Rita Morris.

Ruth loved to sew and made extraordinary quilts.  She was a religious woman who believed in the fundamental principles of salvation through faith. Her incredible work ethics made her a valuable asset where ever she worked receiving recognition as a nurse and former Boeing employee.

If you needed someone to take charge and get things done she was undoubtedly the person you would turn to. She never ceased to amaze the people around her for her quick thinking, decision making and action taking no matter what life threw her way. She was the woman you never dared to contradict because she was, is and will always be the boss as she always made clear to everyone.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving family sister Effie Coker; children:Rodney Fancher, Linda Morgan, William Morgan, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday May 31st, 2019 at Mountain View at 9:00 a.m.
