Larry F. Siefker, 58, passed away on June 27, 2018 at Hospice of the Valley in Gilbert, AZ. Memorial services will be held at 11am, July 13, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd. Mesa, AZ. Internment will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Following the interment, there will be lunch provided at Organ Stop Pizza, 1149 E. Southern Avenue, Mesa, AZ.
Larry was born on January 6, 1960 in Lima, OH to Alvin & Doris (Kleman) Siefker. He grew up in Lima, OH & moved to Mesa, AZ at the age of 15. He graduated from Mesa Westwood High School in 1978. After high school he attended Mesa Community College where he received an associates arts degree in electronic engineering technology.
Larry began work for Motorola/General Dynamics as an engineer tech, where he worked for 37 years.
Larry married the love of his life, Amalia Gribbin on April 21, 2007. They were happily married for 11 years.
Larry was a member of the Knights of Columbus chapter at Holy Cross Catholic Church. He enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, target shooting, & spending time with his family. He received multiple awards & accomplishments from General Dynamics.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Siefker.
Larry is survived by his wife, Amalia of Chihuahua, Mexico; his son John Michael of Mesa & stepson Jimmy Gribbin of Tucson, AZ; his mother Doris of Lima, OH; his siblings Chris, Chuck, Jan, & Jeanie of Lima, OH; & multiple nieces & nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus & St. Vincent de Paul, both of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
I enjoyed working with Larry on the Pet program many years ago. He was such a kind man, never an unkind word came out of his mouth. My condolences to his family. I’m sorry but I am unable to attend his service.

Larry left us too soon. He was one in a million. He was always kind and optimistic. He never met a stranger. He was so happy go lucky all the time. He was the most patient person we have ever met. Our family have many beautiful memories of Larry that will live forever in our hearts. He will be missed dearly. Our sincere condolences to all the family.
