Passed Away on January 28, 2020


Joshua Edward Greenleaf of Mesa, Arizona passed away January 28th, 2020 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Josh was born August 14, 1992 in Fullerton, California to Cheryl and Joe Greenleaf. Josh is preceded in death by his Grandmother Nancy and Grandfather Eddie. He is survived by his daughter; Bailey, son; Nicholas, parents; Cheryl and Joe Greenleaf, grandmother; Barbara Greenleaf and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many other family members.

Josh served in the United States Army, active duty from 2012-2015. During his time in the Army, Josh went through basic training in Fort Benning, Georgia, attended AIT in Fort Sill, Oklahoma and was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In May 2013, Josh deployed to Afghanistan and returned back to Fort Campbell in December 2013. In 2015 he was honorably discharged from the Army and returned home to Arizona.

Josh served his community working as an EMT for American Medical Response (AMR) for a few years. During his time with AMR Josh also attended school studying Fire science. He then transferred to Rural Metro and worked as a civilian firefighter. Josh had just recently passed his state firefighter exams I and II.

Services for Josh will be held 10:00a.m. Monday February 10, 2020 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa, Arizona.

    It will be 4 yrs. Since he passed and my feelings of Grief are still strong for this young man whom I wished I could have helped that night. GOD BLESS Mom Cheryl, Bailey & Sandy and for Cheryl’s Frienship thru. The Yrs. My Condolences 🙏 and Love for all who Love this Man.
