Jay R. Robertson, Jaybird died unexpectedly in Phoenix, AZ on February 18, 2016 at the age of 52. Jay is survived by his father, Dick Robertson, his siblings Joni (Mike) Corbin, Jeff (Kamn) Robertson and Juli (Don) Shreeves, his children Brandi (Robby), Nick and Neil (Kayla), nieces, nephews and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Jean Robertson. Jay was born on December 9, 1963 in Elko, NV to Dick and Emma Jean Robertson. Jay was a talented carpenter; he had a great appreciation of sports, and a real love for life. Jay was a savvy story teller and gifted comedian. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 12:00 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street in Mesa. A luncheon will follow at 825 S. 32nd Street in Mesa.
