Helen Patricia “Pat” Nickell Obituary

Helen Patricia Nickell (85) passed away peacefully Monday, February 22, 2016. Pat was a long time resident of Mesa Arizona and was a teacher for Chandler Schools. Pat was born in Buffalo New York and moved to Phoenix in her teens. Pat graduated from ASU with a degree in education and enjoyed learning and traveling throughout her life. Pat leaves behind a daughter (Julie Coury) and a son (Jim Nickell) along with her pride and joy 7 beautiful grandchildren. Memorial Services for Pat are Sat. 2pm and will be held in Mesa at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E Main St. In lieu of flowers, please hug your grandchildren.

    Pat was a good friend and neighbor. We have enjoyed each others families thru ups and downs we have always been there for each other.
    She was so proud of each of her Grand children! I will miss her. Love you all. Liz

    Pat was one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever known !Pat’s love kept me in check to do what’s right Evan though it’s difficult at times to go against the flow ;Do the best you can and leave the rest to G-d, for he is Semper Fidelis
