Passed Away on April 28, 2020


Gloria Jean Schneider passed away peacefully at her home in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by family on April 28, 2020.  She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 2, 1946.  Gloria (nickname “Jeannie”) was preceded in death by her father Stanley Wisniewski, mother Mary (Klose), sister Audrey and brother Donny.  She married her honey bunny, Raymond, on September 11, 1971 blessed with nearly 49 years of marriage and 3 loving children.

Jeannie is survived by her husband Ray, sister Norine (husband Al), brother-in-law Dennis (wife Judy), sister-in-laws Jeanne (Neal) and Pat Wisniewski, son Brian (fiancé Michelle Barrone), daughters Janice (husband Andy) and Jamie (husband Nick), and six grandchildren Morgan, Andy, Rhian, Liam, Eamon and Mila. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jeannie will be missed by all.  The family would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful people whose thoughts and prayers helped her and us during this difficult time.  Special thanks to the tremendous support team from Hospice of the Valley for their care of Jeannie and her loved ones during the final days of her journey.  A small funeral service will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church, in Mesa Arizona on Friday, May 1st at 10:30 AM.  A celebration of this incredible woman’s life will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation supporting a cure for breast cancer or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

    Aunt Jennie was a wonderful person, she was always there ready to give you a huge as soon as she could. She made me feel as though she knew me when I first meet her. There aren’t to many her kind sweet grayish and loving, she was unique in her own way. She will always be remembered throughout Debbie and my our lives. May God bless her for eternity next to him and all her loved ones in heaven. Peace and love!

    Jeannie was a very special friend who I really got to know well, we had so much in common, a lot of the same believes and so much love to share. She was my little Polish, Irish friend with the cutest nose! I will miss her so much. Prayers to you all Steve and JoAnn
