Passed Away on April 4, 2019


Fred W. Dase Jr. (89) passed away peacefully on April 4, 2019. He was born in Wisconsin on September 10, 1929. He was the son of Fred and Edith Dase. He was baptized and confirmed on April 2, 1944 in Minnesota at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He and his wife Beverly, with their three children, moved to Arizona in 1961.

He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War and a recipient of a Purple Heart. He retired from TWA in 1984. He loved making jewelry, woodworking, fishing, and gardening. He had a green thumb and enjoyed spending his later years creating a beautiful backyard.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of 68 years, his brother Frank (Helen), his sons Larry (Marjory) and Ron, his daughter Linda (Mike), and four grandchildren: Amber, Kim, Chani, and Kia.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12th at 10 a.m. at Eternal Life Lutheran Church in Mesa. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Risen Savior Memorial Garden later in the afternoon.
