Frank D. Aranda, 61, of Apache Junction, passed away peacefully March 28, 2019. He was born in Ray, AZ on November 14, 1957 and raised in Superior, AZ.  Son of Transito Aranda & Lucy F. Dozal.  Brother to Carolyn Aranda, Danny Aranda, Robert Aranda, & Richard Aranda.

He was an army veteran and a proud patriot. He worked as a correctional officer in Florence for many years and retired from the Department of Homeland Security. He loved to sing and play his guitar, often serenading his loved ones and organizing countless benefit concerts.  He loved to help people.

He loved his family dearly, and would do anything for them. He is survived by two devoted daughters, Tina Casillas of Superior and Lisa Griffis of Apache Junction. He has nine grandchildren, his “babies”, Angelina, Gabriel, Gavin, Diego, Caden, Brennen, Mariah, Violet and Evelyn. They were his whole world. He is also survived by his loving fiance, Theresa Crooks, who stayed by his side and cared for him even when things got hard.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa on April 5th at 10:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Los Hermanos ballroom in Superior AZ.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful people who kept Frank in prayer, held us up, supported us, donated time and energy, and just encouraged us through this difficult time.
