Doris Irene Ferrante,
94, of Gold Canyon, AZ, passed away peacefully on 10/28/17 surrounded by her loved ones. Doris was born on July 10, 1923 in Scottville, Michigan to Ray and Hazel Wahr.
She is survived by her children: Craig (Vickilyn) Van Sickle, Gary Van Sickle and Donna (James) Ekren; stepdaughters, Pat Politi, Janice (Les) Richards, and Olivia McKeown; and stepson, Robert Johann. Doris is fondly remembered by her 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all the lives she has touched.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church, 6640 S. Kings Ranch Road, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E Main Street, Mesa, AZ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gold Canyon United Methodist Church Mission Center.
