Clement “Clem” A. A’Hearn Obituary

Clement “Clem” A. A’Hearn, 95, passed away peacefully September 26, 2015 at his home in Mesa, AZ.  Clem was born on April 14, 1920 in Waukon, IA, the youngest of 9 children to parents Joseph and Agnes A’Hearn.  As a Navy Seabee, he served his country with honor in the Pacific Theater during WWII.  Clem retired in 1982 after many years of service as a Sheet Metal Supervisor for the LA County Mechanical Dept.  Married to Beatrice Solis of El Paso, TX, they settled in Mesa, AZ in 1983 after raising 3 daughters, Beverly A’Hearn, Julie Malcolm and Yvonne Suzuki Licopoli.  After the death of his wife in 1993, Clem married Marjorie Ward in 1995.  They shared their love of swing dancing to big band tunes.  Clem was also an avid bowler and billiards player in his retirement.  He served as president for the Carriage Manor Billiards club for several years.  Clem is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 son in laws.  Viewing is scheduled for 9:00 am Wednesday September 30, 2015 followed by funeral at 10:00 am Mountain View Funeral Home 7900 E.
