Passed Away on July 31, 2017


Catherine Gathman was born to Dwight R. and Sarah Gilbert on October 27, 1920.

She grew up and graduated from high school in Hanks, North Dakota. Catherine married Warren Gathman on April 21, 1940, of this union 3 children were born. Twins, Alice Mather (Don), Ann Bakke (Dave); and son, Dennis Gathman. They had 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers, and granddaughter, Cyndi Caverly.

She loved to knit, sew, and in retirement she and Warren traveled to nearly every State, as well as spending lots of time golfing in Arizona.

They spent their early years farming in North Dakota, then moved to AZ in 1973.

Funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 29, 2017.  Internment at Mountain View Cemetery on  Monday, July 31, 2017 at 9:00 am.

    She was a spitfire that everyone loved. I remember her as a classy lookin gal. She wuld ask Tom squeeze his cheek are you behaving. Uncle Warren has been waiting
