Bonnie Jean Scott Glenn

Passed Away on March 21, 2017


Bonnie Glenn passed away quietly in her home in Mesa on March 21, 2017.  She was born in Munday, Texas in 1915.  When she was a teenager she moved with her family to Oklahoma where she married the love of her life, Orville Marvin Glenn.  During the Dust Bowl years they moved to California.  In 1952 the family moved to Mesa where she lived for the rest of her life.  Bonnie loved her family and friends and they always knew that.  She was a wonderful cook until her later years.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Orville, of 60 years and son-in-law Delmas Ballentyne, grandsons, Gregory Glenn and Russell Glenn.  She is survived by children, Verdan (Sylvia) Glenn, Jerald (Donna) Glenn, and Janice Ballentyne, Jeffery Glenn, 10 grand children, 27 great grand children, and 9 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Church on University in Mesa at 10am on Saturday March 25th.  Interment will be in the City of Mesa Cemetery.  In leau of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
