Blagomir Vicentijevic was born on March 25, 1916 in Brzan, Serbia. He passed away on February 11, 2019.

He joined the Yugoslav Royal Army in April of 1940, becoming a prisoner of war in April of 1941, until he was released in 1945.

He married his first love, Helen on March 3, 1951 and then immigrated to the United States on March 5, 1951.

He worked in Racine, Wisconsin, after coming to America and retired from Gateway Technical Institute in 1981. His beloved wife Helen passed away in 1977. He then married the second love of his life, Lillian in 1986. They were married for 31 years until she passed away in 2017.

Blagomir loved God and his church, where he served faithfully throughout his time in Wisconsin, as well as Arizona. He also was an avid gardener and spent much time sharing the beauty of his gardens with others over the years.

He was a gentle and generous soul who leaves behind family, godchildren and a great many friends who provided support to him in his final years, for which he was grateful.

Service for Blagomir will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on February 23, 2019, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. and a prayer service at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at City of Mesa Cemetery.
