There’s a little word called Mother with a rhythm all its own
Which seems to sway the heart-strings In the cradle of its tone.
God fashioned it of tenderness And understanding true.
And then he called it Mother..For he named if after you.
You will be missed Mother.. your son Michael

  5. Linda Bailey says:

There was never a more loving mother-in-law in world. And, that’s not just cliche. I lived across the street from Barb for 15 years, and so I was able to build a wonderful relationship with her. I’ll miss her sweet smile, and her love of laughter whenever I visited, and we looked at jokes together online. I’ll miss her hugs, and her, “Get over here, Linda Lou’s!” as she grabbed my back pocket to ask for another hug. Even when times were hard for her, she never stopped laughing, and she worried more about everyone else, than she did for herself. She loved her family more than anything, and home-schooled her grandson, Andrew, better than any teacher I’ve ever seen. She was very hard to beat at the Word Scrabble game, so I had to be on my toes. As much as I’ll miss her, though, I’m thankful that she can breathe freely again. She’s not “lost.” Everyone knows right where she’s at….in the loving presence of the Lord. All my love to BJ, Mike, Mark, Micki, and Andrew at this difficult time.

  6. Janice Warren says:

Barbara was dear to me. She stood beside me when my dad was in the hospital, even though her own health was not good.
I will always remember her sweet smile, and the loving support she gave me.

  10. Micki Bailey-Moore says:

I can’t believe it has already been over a month since mom left this early home. I have really been missing her a lot the past few days. She was my rock, my best friend and the best mother anyone could ever wish for. She was a strong, humble and faithful Christian women. It showed in every day of her life. I hope I can be 1/2 the woman she is before I leave this earth. <3
