Alice Johnson was born in McKees Rocks, PA in 1923 and departed this life on May 1, 2018 in Apache Junction, AZ, at the age of 95.
Alice was the fourth child of eight children born to Mary and Joseph Bucek. Her husband, Dale, her parents and six of her siblings and their spouses preceded her in death and welcomed her through the Heavenly Gates.
Alice is survived by two children, daughter, Sylvia and husband, Harry Saffell; her son, Anthony Bruno; three grandchildren, Kimberly Sharpe, Gretchen (Peter) Matta and Nathan (Tammy Lewis) Vavro; and her great-grandchildren, James (Laura) Sharpe, Dominic Matta, Shelby Sharpe and Joseph Matta; her brother, Richard Bucek; and her sisters-in-law, Josephine Bucek and Gail Johnson, as well as the many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A memorial took place in Apache Junction on Sunday, May 6 for her Arizona family and friends and a second memorial will take place on June 3rd in Alice’s hometown of McKees Rocks, PA.
