Alan Kit Bartholow, age 58 passed away at home on October 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother Sylvia Joanne and father Don Bartholow. He is survived by his wife Linda and Sisters Cody (Dwayne), Christy (Mark), Cindy and Kelly (Dan) and nephews and niece Brent, Devan and Haley; granddaughters Krista (fiancé Derek) and Alexa and his beloved great-grandchildren Colton and Tatum. Kit spent 14 years serving his country, 4 years with the Navy and 10 years with the Airforce. He was an Eagle Scout and proud lifetime member of the NRA. He loved being outdoors and all of God’s wonders. Most recently he was a cancer patient at MD Anderson having both radiation and chemo therapy. He would want to say thank you to everyone involved in his care. Of all things he loved, his great-grandkids Colton and Tatum were the reason to give cancer the biggest fight of his life.
