Tom is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He dealt with the ravages of war and the effects of agent orange for many years. Through all his trials, he always believed that life was an adventure to be lived to the fullest. He and Maxine worked hard for many years including owning a successful flower shop and they vacationed all around the world. His favorite being the islands. After retiring it became his mission in life to give back to all the veterans who needed assistance. He tirelessly worked to donate Christmas cards, pallets of water, clothing, bicycles, furniture, and whatever else they needed. He took pride while taking sandwiches and water to the homeless veterans in Phoenix every Christmas Eve until he was not able to. Thank you to his community for all of the donations and help with this mission. Private services will be held at The Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held this Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 3 to 6pm at the clubhouse in Palmas Del Sol 6209 E. McKellips Rd Mesa AZ 85215
