Violet Kuechenberg, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018. She was born on January 5, 1926 in Gary, Indiana to Luigi and Anna Graziani and was the youngest of three daughters. She spent her life living in Indiana, Florida, and Arizona where she lived for the last twenty plus years. During her time in Indiana and Florida she worked as a bank teller. She loved deep sea fishing, line dancing, her Catholic faith, and most importantly her family. Even in her late 80’s it was not uncommon for her to travel by herself somewhere, even if her luggage was almost as tall as she was. What she lacked in height she more than made up for in energy and personality, as she never met a stranger and loved talking and learning about people. She is survived by four daughters and two son-in-laws, Cassie and Cliff Richeson, Debbie Mundell, Gale and Wes Fellows, and Shelley Mundell; eight grandchildren, Renee Richeson, Tami Richeson, Cliff Richeson Jr., Mandy Pope, Frank Fellows, Justin Iseminger, Matt Iseminger, and Christa Iseminger; 11 great grandchildren, Trevor Jackson, Jared Jackson, Isabella Richeson, Albert Gonzales, David Gonzales, Matthew Pope, Ashley Pope, Kenny Richeson, Emma Richeson, Sydney Fellows, and Payton Fellows, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetary at 7900 East Main Street, Mesa on Monday, January 15 from 4-7 PM. The rosary will be at 6 PM. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church in Mesa, with Mass at 10:30 AM, then internment at Mountain View Cemetery. A lunch will be served at All Saints Catholic Church immediately after the internment.
