Timothy Wayne Chrysty

Born August 10, 1953 in Indianapolis,IN

Took his final earthly ride on Friday Feb. 7,  2020

Tim was preceded in death by his parents James And Betty Chrysty, and sister Ruth (Jackson). He is survived by his wife Lorry, son Jimmy and daughter Damion. Three grandchildren, Briana, Loren, and Izah. As well as countless friends.

At the age of 13 Tim traded 3 pigs, he was to be raising, for a motorcycle. As he told it, his dad had a hemorrhage and locked his bike in the shed. After a couple weeks, Tim’s dad said, “if your going to have this thing, I guess we should take it out and and get it running. And that’s what they did, and he was never the same boy. He rode every chance he had, right up to the day he became ill. He met his wife Lorry and introduced her to his Harley Davidson world. After a year and a half she had her own bike and as Tim put it ,”she took to it like a duck to water.” As well as “Now I will always have someone to ride with.”  And they did Sturgis in 2017, Devils highway, and Jerome, lots of days spent riding to north Phoenix or Tucson to spend time with friends.

A celebration of his life will be held in a couple of months, so that we may all gather with our stories and love for man who loved Harley’s now riding above.

Tim would ask that you all stop by “Liars Bench” at Superstition Harley and continue the stories he started with friends. He loved his time spent there with all of his friends, and if you sit still , you’ll surely will feel his presence as he’ll always be there.

Ride high and fly free my loveI’ I’ll join you some day! I know you’ll be near as I ride till that day!

There will be a Celebration of Tim’s Life at Superstition Harley-Davidson, 2910 Apache Trail #5208, Apache Junction, Arizona 85120, Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
