Sandra “Sandy” Perron Lundberg, 53, returned to her heavenly home on June 26, 2018 after a valiant battle with cancer.  Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Sandy was born to William and Elizabeth (Kock) Perron in Amery, Wisconsin on December 11, 1964.  For most of her youth, her family lived in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, Master’s Degree and Administration degree. For 18.5 years, she was an instrumental music teacher in Minnesota.  In 2010, she and her family moved to Arizona pursuing her administration ambitions.  Desert Mountain School, in Scottsdale, followed by Hamilton High, Arizona College Prep – Oakland, the Director of Curriculum at Chandler Unified School District, and in 2015, she was selected to open the last comprehensive high school built in the Chandler School District as Principal of Casteel High School. In April of 2018, the Casteel High School Library was dedicated to her in her honor.  She was an active member of the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes.   Her passion and vision was contagious to all that worked with her. Commonly heard phrases would include:  “True Story”, “Research Shows”, and my “White Buffalos”.

Sandy married the love of her life, William “Bill” Lundberg on September 27,1997 in Lindstrom, Minnesota.  Together they enjoyed taking motorcycle rides, performing music in “The Boogie Band”, and spending time with family.  They first created a home in East Bethel, Minnesota where Melissa was born (2000) and later found a home at the base of Superstition Mountain in Apache Junction, Arizona, where Margaret joined their family (2006).  Sandy instilled in the girls a desire to work hard, set goals, and be the best person one can be.  When possible, Sandy found time to fly back to Minnesota to spend time with her siblings and their families. Family was everything.  As the girls got older, the family traveled extensively to watch Melissa play softball, and watching Maggie in cheer and dance.
