Romeo Francis Lemieux, 87, resident of Mesa, passed away March 9th. He joins his loving wife, Constance Lemieux, in heaven.
Romeo was born in Holyoke, MA on May 19, 1930. He graduated from Holyoke High School. Romeo was a store manager at the restaurant AC Peterson’s in Bloomfield, Windsor and West Hartford, CT before owning two restaurants, both named Fran’s located in Enfield, CT and Chicopee, MA. Afterwards he became a Chef at Loomis Chaffee and then at Saint Joseph’s College.
Romeo is survived by his son, Eric Lemieux, his wife, Suzanne, and their children, Luke and Connor of Guilford, CT. Romeo is also survived by his Brother Richard Lemieux and his Nephew Nick Ottomaniello.
Romeo was a member of The Knights of Columbus and attended the All Saints Church located on 1534 N. Recker Rd., Mesa. His hobbies included praying the rosary, reading spy novels, cooking, and watching the Red Socks.
The viewing and the Funeral took place Thursday.
He is missed dearly by friends, family, and everyone who knew him.
