Bobbie was a devout Christian and active member of Superstition Foothills Baptist Church in Gold Canyon, assisting in significant administrative and other volunteer activities.
Bobbie leaves behind an enormous community of family and friends scattered across the nation who will dearly miss her – her compassion for others, her endless volunteering and of course her appearance of someone 20 years her younger.
Bobbie is survived by siblings Karen Hoffmann (Don), Jimi Olson, Scott Olson, Fran Pugh (Fred), Terry Olson and Steven Olson (Margaret). She is also survived by her four sons, George Losee Nyfeler III (Suzanne), Jeffery Scott Nyfeler (Kristen), William Crews Nyfeler (Suzette) & Michael Dodd Nyfeler (Kristal) as well as step children G. Bret Culbreth (Terry), Steve Culbreth (Sandy), Debi O’Connor, Terri Culbreth and step grandchild Ami Krywyn (Roman), among other grandchildren and great grandchildren on both sides of the family.
Two days prior to her death, Bobbie became engaged to marry MAJ William Crews McCulloch, USA(ret), 87. The widow and widower only reconnected earlier this month, having previously known each other 60 years ago when each of their families were living in close proximity – first at Fort Bragg and then on Okinawa, Japan during the early years of U.S. military advising missions in Vietnam.
Bobbie and William Crews were to be married Saturday, August 25th. Instead, on that day and location a memorial service celebrating Bobbie’s life will be held at 3pm at Superstition Foothills Baptist Church located at 6338 S Kings Ranch Rd, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations be sent to her beloved church at the address of the memorial service listed above.
