Robert Walter Rader

Robert Walter Rader passed away on October 16th, 2026.
Robert Walter Rader (Bob) was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on March 11th, 1935 to Mildred and Walter Rader. He was an only child. He graduated from High School in 1953 where he played baseball, football, and was on the swim team. He was scouted by the Cleveland Indians, but the Navy pulled him from the camp the first night he was there. He was in the Navy from 1953 to 1957. Bob attended and graduated from the University of Arizona, and was immediately hired by Motorola as an Engineer. Motorola is where he met Arlene Marie Cleveland. They were married on February 10th, 1968. Arlene was the love of his life. They were sealed in the LDS Mesa, AZ Temple on March 15th, 2022. Bob and Arlene had one child, Holly M. Rader.
Bob enjoyed building and adding on to the home he shared with his wife. He was also an accomplished wood worker and built many pieces of furniture.
