Richard Ebenhoch, 84, passed away on May 19, 2018 with his family by his side. Richard was born in Akron, Ohio to Clarence and Eula Ebenhoch. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy flying planes off air craft carries. He was honorably discharged and moved to Arizona where he met and married Beverley Jean and began a life with their three daughters. He worked at Motorola and Allied Signal before retiring to assist his mother Eula. Always interested in law enforcement, he joined the Sherriff’s posse and eventually became a commander assisting his neighborhood and nearby areas. In retirement, he continued his love of airplanes by building and flying remote controlled airplanes with several close and caring friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Eula Ebenhoch, his brother, Bernard Ebenhoch and his beloved granddaughter, Rachel Staab. He leaves behind his three daughters: Diane (Dean) Ayres, Richele Staab, Renee Williams (fiancé Jeff Douglas), three granddaughters: Caitlin Staab, Rhianna Williams and Cassie Williams and ex-wife/friend Beverley Byers.
Services will be held May 25, 2018 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85207 starting at 9:00 a.m. Equally important to love of family was his love of God. We know his love and devotion will lead him to a special place in heaven.
