Okalani Tessa Scheffler 22, of Phoenix Arizona peacefully went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2024. She was born on November 14 2001, to John Scheffler and Ramona Batie. Okalani was very creative and participated in dance and art. She was an avid music lover, a real die hard "Swiftie". She loved animals. She recently found another love, cooking.

Okalani was a beautiful soul. She had a outgoing personality that had her making friends wherever she went. Her beautiful laugh was so infectious that she brought joy to everyone that knew her.

Okalani had a love of children that she had planned to become a school teacher.

She leaves behind her life partner Alex Doss and her 2 furbabies; Dud and Russell.

Okalani is survived by her parents, John Scheffler, Ramona Batie (Reneé), her siblings; Davonta Batie, Julian Scheffler, and Jeovanni Scheffler (Ziza), Grandparents; Stan and Judy Scheffler, Melody and Robert Batie. Aunts; Michealle Frey, January Steer, Sara Schulz, Kristen Dahy and Caitlyn Scheffler, Uncles; Craig (Jodie) Frey, Vance Frey, Rock Batie, and Robert Batie (Christine). Stepmothers; Rozalane Wells, and Lisa Tori Faecke, Cincy and Sarah Gould. Step sisters; Haley Thom, Haven Carney, and Jessika Faecke, Khailah Totress Sister of the heart Isabell Cortez and niece of the heart Estrella Cortez and a host of cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Stephettia Stasik.

Okalani will be greatly missed. Although our time with her was short, her internal beauty, wonderful smile and kindness to others will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on March 30, 2024 from 11am- 1 pm with funeral service immediately following. There will be a reception for Okalani after the funeral service.
