Gerald "Jerry" Allen Stewart
November 4, 1948 - November 2, 2026
Gerald "Jerry" Allen Stewart passed away on November 2nd, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born November 4, 1948, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Bob and Margaret Stewart. Growing up in South Phoenix alongside his brothers, he built a tough skin fast, and the rowdy bunch shared a love of excitement and speed. Going to stay with his grandparents, MaMo and BoBo, in Humboldt for the summer was always a highlight.
Jerry served in the Army National Guard for four years. Afterward, he became a hardworking businessman, owning an Exxon service station that supplied the Valley with fuel and other conveniences. He was never a stranger to charity either. Taking over his brother's legacy, Toys for Tots in Arizona blossomed into an annual tradition spreading joy to all.
On April 25, 1975, Jerry married the love of his life, Andrea, two lovers bound to find each other that night at the bar. Together they shared 51 years and raised their children, Crissie and Tony. He was always passionate about anything with an engine. He loved Harleys, hot rods, classic cars, and Cadillacs, along with car shows, cross-country motorcycle rallies, NASCAR, dove hunting, the sand dunes, and the lake.
'Til his last days, Jerry was a man with spunk. No one will forget his raised eyebrow, his sarcastic wit, or the sound of his ice cup.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Margaret Stewart, and his brothers, Dale and Bob. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Stewart; his daughter, Crissie (Brandon); his son, Tony (Trina); and his grandchildren, Austin, Alexander, Levi, and Brynlee. Funeral arrangements will be held at 9am, November 7th, 2026 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery.
