George Lewis Toth, age 69, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully in his home on June 19, 2016. His wife, Rita (Jaye) Claire Toth preceded him in death; being with her again was the desire of his heart. George was born on July 11, 1946 in Inglewood, California to Lewis and Margaret Toth. After his graduation from Inglewood High School, George joined the U.S. Navy and served his country from 1964 to 1968. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Oriskany during the Vietnam War. George joined the Postal Service in April of 1969, in Seattle Washington and worked for the company faithfully up to the morning of his passing. On July 22, 1974, he married Jaye (Desjardins), his dream girl and the captor of his heart for the duration of his years on this earth. Moving to sunny Arizona in 1976, his dream was to raise a family and to love his wife unconditionally. George became a devoted Christian and believed firmly in the saving grace of his Savior. He was kind, understanding, considerate and genuine in all that he did in life. All who had the pleasure of meeting George would agree that he was the nicest guy that you could ever meet. George is survived by his sister, Sandra Warren and her family; son, Daniel and his wife, Theresa; daughter, Angela and her husband Cary; and three grandchildren, Ariel, Ethan and Kaya. Visitation for George will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street in Mesa from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 10:00 am. Military honors will be held.  Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
