Frank Wyatt Rhoades was born at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California on May 26, 2001, and died at home in Phoenix, Arizona on October 23, 2026. He was a beloved son to Marcella and James Charles Rhoades, and best friend and brother to Lucille Andrea Rhoades. Those fortunate enough to know Frank understand what a truly extraordinary person he was.

Frank graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2023. His remarkable mind, exceptional talents, and boundless curiosity were evident in everything he pursued. A Rubik’s Cube speed champion, a Level 10 gymnast invited to compete at the USA Gymnastics National Championships, and a brilliant “mathemagician,” Frank possessed a rare combination of searing intelligence, narrowcasted determination, and niche creativity. Who builds his own computer and assembles mechanical keyboards? Frank does.

Frank was special in ways that went far beyond his achievements. His brilliance, humor, warmth, and unique spirit made him unforgettable. He had a gift for making life brighter simply by being himself, and his presence was a blessing to his family and friends. Frank was a gamer, a cat whisperer, Chili’s enthusiast, and a genuinely hilarious person who brought laughter and joy to those around him. He lived for the meme, and he’ll be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.

To know Frank is to love him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, in the laughter he inspired, and in the countless ways he made the world a more extraordinary place.

An intimate Celebration of Life with family and close friends will be held in Michigan in early 2027.
