Francis H. Brophy, 81, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on April 17th, 2025. Born in Albany, New York on September 14, 1943, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and avid outdoorsman. Frank lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to his family and craft.

Frank spent his career as a respected Construction Superintendent, leaving a legacy of hard work and integrity. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marie (Chenette) Brophy, and together they raised four children: Christine Hill (Michael), Douglas Brophy (Kim), Lynn Escobedo (Raul), and Stephen Brophy (Brenda). Frank's pride and joy extended to his ten grandchildren—Frank, Jake, Alexandra, Zane, Ryleigh, John, Cole, Wyatt, Mckenna, and Erica—whom he cherished deeply.

Although Frank spent most of his life in chronic pain, he never let it define him or keep him from his passions. It wasn't uncommon to find Frank in his backyard tending to his lawn and garden or fixing things around the house. He was often heard to say that his biggest joy in life was raising his four children. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found solace and joy in nature, often sharing these adventures with family and friends.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, strength in adversity, sense of humor, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. The service will be held on April 28th at 1:00pm at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St. in Mesa, AZ 85207.
