Dona Jane Motz Clegg, born on January 19th, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on April 21st, 2025 at her residence in Mesa, Arizona. She was the beloved wife of Bruce Clegg.

Dona is survived by her brother, Marshall Motz and five children, Tina Lynn Taylor of San Diego, California, Jeffrey Motz Clegg of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Leslie Caren Edwards of Seattle, Washington, Ingrid Tiffany Higgins of San Jose, California  and Hilary Motz Clegg of San Diego, California, and four grandchildren, Emily Elizabeth Higgins, Katherine Isabella Higgins, Aria Autumn Clegg and Ellie Colette Clegg.

Dona moved from Ohio to California in the 1970's, where she met Bruce. Dona was a born caretaker who worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

She was an avid reader with an interest in true crime, and an animal lover who owned many pets, including dogs, cats, birds and even a goat.

She loved playing Scrabble, music and singing.

Dona had a mischievous sense of humor and was also interested in social justice causes like women's rights and civil rights.

The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Dona Clegg will be held on April 26th, 2025 at Mountain View Funeral Home at 7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Humane World for Animals: https://www.humaneworld.org/en .
