In Loving Memory of Coleen Diane Rosa Castaneda

February 10, 1952 – March 26, 2025

Coleen Diane Rosa Castaneda, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025.

Born in Oakland, California, on February 10, 1952, she spent most of her life in the East Bay Area, where she built cherished memories and lifelong connections.

In 2008, Coleen and her mother, Beverly, moved to Queen Creek, Arizona, to be closer to her sister.

Throughout her life, Coleen was known for her warmth, resilience, and kindness- traits that endeared her to all who knew her. She had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life and left a lasting impact on those around her.

A dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 25 years, Coleen was a dual member in California and Arizona. She served as Worthy Matron multiple times and held the distinguished role of Deputy Grand Matron for the California Grand Chapter. Her commitment to the organization was a testament to her leadership, integrity, and passion for service.

Coleen was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Beverly, her father, Vernon, and her two sisters, Laurie and Cherie. She now joins them in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication.

An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at a later date to celebrate Coleen's life and honor her dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the organization.

Rest in peace, Coleen. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved you.
