Tanner Douglas Chappell, 20, beloved son and brother, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2010. Tanner was born April 8, 1989 to doug and Pam Chappell. Tanner lived most of his life in Mesa, Arizona, where he attended Desert Ridge High School. He competed on the wrestling team winning many medals and making countless friends. Tanner had a very special place in his heart for his disabled sister, Michelle. For this reason, he always gave special attention to those less fortunate. On countless occasions, Tanner brought home peers who needed help in some way. The reason he gave was always the same, “their family isn’t as good as ours”. Tanner is survived by his parents, Doug and Pam Chappell, his brother, Will, sisters Camille and Michelle, grandparents William and Jean Chappell, Tony and Elaine Rimsza, nieces Olivia and Isabella, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tanner will be missed terribly by his family and friends for his irresistible wit and charm. Memorial services are being held Monday, January 11, 2010 at Mountain View Funeral Home. 7900 East Main Street, Mesa, Arizona. Viewing services start at 2:00 pm followed by Memorial services at 3:00pm.
