Catherine Theresa Dziadul Miller, born 12/4/1949 and passed away on 12/7/2017 at the age of 68.

Catherine was born in Paterson, New Jersey.   After growing up and going to school in New Jersey, she began her career in the brokerage industry at age 17 and worked for many of the major Wall Street brokerage firms as a wire operator.   In 1982, she moved to Arizona and continued working in the brokerage industry.

Catherine enjoyed reading, writing poetry, cooking, and crafting.  She was a great conversationalist and enjoyed long chats on the phone.  She loved her kitties, family, and friends.

Catherine met her husband Arthur Miller while horseback riding in the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona.  They were married in 1987 until his passing in 2009.

In 1992, Catherine went back to school and earned an Associate Degree as a Para-legal.  She then worked as a legal assistant for the same estate planning attorney for 23 years and retired in October of 2017.

Catherine’s background in estate planning gave her insight into the importance of pre-planning. She arranged to be cremated and to have her ashes placed with her husband Art’s so they would be together again.  Catherine did not request a formal memorial service.   She felt that family and friends should choose how they wished to remember her.  Perhaps a get together for a Celebration of Life.   One of her final  requests   “I don’t want a pity party.”

Catherine’s preparation was just an example of making her wishes known and making it easier for everyone she left behind.  The only thing she could not prepare us for is how much she will be missed by her friends and family, both in Arizona and on the East Coast.
