Barbara was born in Battle Creek, Iowa on March 11, 1945. She graduated from Schleswig High School in 1963. After high school, she attended school to become a stewardess. They celebrated their 50th anniversary with all of their children and grandchildren present. They were married for a wonderful 51 years.
