Burial Vaults Mesa AZ | Mesa Urn Vaults
A burial vault is a lined and sealed outer receptacle that houses the casket. It protects the casket from the weight of the earth and heavy maintenance equipment that will pass over the grave. It also helps resist water and preserves the beauty of the cemetery or memorial park by preventing the ground from settling. At Mountain view we use Wilbert Vaults, the finest and most dependable vault made. .
If you plan on ground burial for the urn, most cemeteries require it be placed in an urn vault. Lined urn vaults give urns varying levels of protection from subsoil elements and the weight of the earth and cemetery maintenance equipment.
A lined urn vault is made of high-strength concrete and reinforced with durable plastic or a combination of durable plastic and metal (bronze, copper, or stainless steel).
