Hit enter by mistake, meant to say UNCLE Glenn and that he left behind many loved ones that will surely miss each day without him here, but he is now surrounded by those loved ones that are no longer here, for eternity. Sorry I didn't get to edit it before it got posted.

Mom, you are greatly loved and will always be remembered. Our hearts are saddened by your sudden departure from this life, but the sadness has been softened knowing that you did not suffer long.

We are very sorry to hear of Uncle Gerald's passing. We enjoyed your parents' visits home to ND in the summer. They were good to include Leona in their trips, too. They talked fondly of their time at Dover and whenever we are there, we think of them.

It still doesn't seem real you are gone when I see your picture and phone no. in my phone. I know you are at peace now and having a grand ole reunion in heaven. Don't worry about us we will be ok knowing you and Dad are together again.

I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

Granny,
You and Grandpa brought so much joy, wisdom and love to all our lives. Your smile lit up a room! Mary, M'lynn Kyle and I are so blessed to have so many fond memories of you. We will miss you so very much. We will also miss the sweet sound of your southern voice. But we won’t say good buy, but see you later. You rest now with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and your wonderful husband. Along with all your other family. Chris loved all the trips he made as a child to visit the farm in Yuma. We are glade we had a chance to live close to you these last few years. It gave us a chance to see you more and be blessed by you company. You and Grandpa taught us so many things. We love you Granny and Great granny. Can’t wait to see you and all our family again in Heaven. Mom(Judy),Auntie Linda, Uncle Ronnie, Aunt Sher, Uncle Doyle, Aunt Edda we are so sorry. We are here for all of you; if any of you need anything call us.

I'm sad for the loss of Aunt Margaret, and have fond memories of staying weekends at her and Uncle Rons house in the valley in Yuma. I have had many great times uncle ron giving me beers and Margaret jumping all over Ron..Telling him she was going to tell Doyle.. I don't think she ever did..
They always seemed to be in love and now they are together again. I'm happy now she can rest free from pain and stress..I love you Aunt Margaret, keep the old man in line !!

RW,Judy and Linda, so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was my favorite Aunt... going to Aunt Margaret and Uncle Ron's house was always a special treat when I was a kid,
I was always welcomed with a warm hug and smile. She will be greatly missed. I also know that there was a joyous reunion when she got to be with her family again...

Aunt Margaret was such a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. I am so glad I was able to see her and visit with her this past January. I will alway's remember her and Uncle Doyle coming together and singing at my Dads funeral, they showed there brother how much they loved him by giving him this one last gift. I am so very sorry for your loss Judy, Linda and Ronnie. I can just imagine what a reunion it is in Heaven with all the Hefner and Trafzer family coming together. I am so looking forward to the day when we all can be reunited again. Nothing but fond memories here. We have a wonderful family.

Dearest Ron, Judy and Linda and families, We were so sorry to learn of Aunt Margaret's death. Please know our prayers and love are with all of your family in the days ahead. I will always treasure the love and kindnesses both she and Uncle Ron gave us when both Dad and Mom died. I don't know if you know that your Dad and Mom would call me every so often to make sure we were alright; and after Uncle Ron died, she continued to periodically call me to make sure we were okay. I think it concerned her that my Ron had heart problems, too. She was the last of our older generation; and the last person to call me "Donna Lou" with her wonderful accent. We're thankful each of you had her in your lives these many years.
God Bless, Love, Donna & Ron

Ron, Judy, and Linda: my condolences are with you all. But I'm smiling a bit, too. What a character Aunt Margaret was - had to be, married to Unc Ron! And you know they are now reunited. I can picture and hear them both carrying on already! Love you all.

Ron, Judy and Linda - Our love and prayers surround you all at this time and in the days ahead. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Ron played a special part in our lives - love and family. I'll always remember her smile and remember that Texan accent as she called my name! I know she is happy being reunited with her best friend! Love you all.

Granny:

Your smiles can brighten any moment,
Your hugs put joy in all my days,
Your love will stay with me forever
And touch my life in precious ways...

The values you've taught,
the care you've given,
and the wonderful love you've shown,
have enriched my life
in more ways than I can count.

Love, Stephanie

I have such good memories of Aunt Margaret. We first met when Uncle Ron was in the army and she and her girls stayed with us in Ohio. In Yuma, we stayed with them when we first moved there. I remember her tuna fish salad sandwiches and sweet tea, her great laugh, her love for her children and her kindness to us all. She made an impact in my life, and I know she's with Uncle Ron and my own parents now.

I have so many wonderful things I could say. I knew this Hero of our greatest generation best in my childhood as I joined the military at age 18 and served a career of 24 years and didn't have much off time to visit in the later years. He was always there for my family and was a wonderful provider for his own family. When my father, Also a WWII veteran who served on the USS Indianapolis before she sank, died in the VA hospital here in San Diego, He made a special effort to make sure I spent a very special last moment with my father, breaking hospital rules. All my memories of "Uncle Dink" were good mentoring moments. He made sure I know the value of freedom and good will. Showed me to be respectful of my elders, showed me why is was important to remember our history, as a family and as a nation. I was 9 when my father died and he was there to make sure that I understood I was now the man of the house because my mother was in ill health fighting cancer and couldn't do the mothering that was needed.
With the story above, this should remind us all that we are loosing our greatest generation all to fast now and soon there will be no more. We should all take the time to make sure we pay proper respect to these great people who have done so much for our country. We need to sit down with these warriors and hear the story of "how is was" to remind us of where we come from. Especially now with so much turmoil in our nation. We must never forget what we are all about and what sacrifices were made. We need to tighten or belts and put our big boy pants on and follow their example, the example of this great man, A warrior of the greatest generation. As I am writing this, for me this is a very heavy moment as I have never married and have no children and with that, I am the last of the great line of greatest generation. I am, The last Porcupile! I am honored and proud that "MY UNCLE DINK" will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
In closing, anybody wishing to contact me can find me on facebook or e mail me at danporcu@cts.com, cell, 858 254 3647.

Jamie, when I think back on when we met, the first thing I remember is Pete and I running into you and Al at a restaurant somewhere. You were wearing a really great red dress, and you and Al looked perfect together. After that, I remember taking care of Alfie and David - the twins. What fun! They sure kept us laughing. You would come to my house after work to pick up Alfie and we would talk about raising kids and everything else that crossed our minds. I always loved what a caring and compassionate mother you were, not to mention what a good friend you were to me. Afterwards, even though we might not see each other for awhile, we could always pick up right where we left off. I consider your family a part of my family and feel blessed that you are my friend.

We met Bob in 1997 when we called a number on a for sale sign and Joyce and Bob sold our home in mesa and sold us the home we live in, Bob also gave us pointers on all the fruit trees and grapes that came with our home. As years past our daughter became great friends with there granddaughter and the family. It is people like the Hildebrandts that make our town a great place to live and raise your kids. Thanks you for all you do for us. Our prayers are with you and your family. May God be with you all.

I am sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She will be deeply missed. I have very fond memories of Carol, and her memory will always remain in my heart. During her life I suspect she took care of everyone she met in a very special way, as I know she took good care of me in my younger years. I can sympothize with the family as my father Dean just recently passed away on June 1, 2011, and we are still grieving for him.

With love, Bill

I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

I just wanted send my condolences to all of Carol Lynn's family and friends. I came across her obituary online and wanted to express my sympathy and share a scripture that I found comforting when I lost my mother and brother and I hope it does the same for you. Psalm 34:18 " Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves."

Dearest Mike and family,

Vincent and I are saddened to hear of dear Lois' passing. Lois was an extra special light in our lives,
and, we will miss her dearly.

We will remember her warm and gentle love, her beautiful accepting ways, her beautiful smile and sparkly eyes. We will remember her strength in the time of adversity, and, know that we have been blessed to have known her.

We hold dear, the memories of our beautiful holiday gatherings in Storrs. The amazing buffets, holiday surprises, games and gifts. We remember warmly, of our
gatherings in Sun Lakes, and her visit to our home in Ahwatukee.

We love you Lois.

Mike we wish you and your family, peace and love in these memories.

Love, Vincent and Susan

I was sorry to hear that Aunt Jean passed away. I didn't see her as much as I would have liked and I didn't know what her history was. I did know that she was a nice person, one of the traits I think everyone in the world should strive toward. I wish I could have seen her again before she left this world. She will be missed.

You truly are what I consider the ideal mother. You keep me strong through even the roughest times, including now. All the things you have taught me will carry through and help me get through what ever life throws in my way. In my eyes you are true beauty, both your appearance and your soul are so rich with delight. It never surprised me with how everyone was so drawn towards you. I am so proud to call you my mommy and I can honestly say that you are my best friend and my role model.
                      love always & forever,
                       Rochelle Thompson

I will miss hearing Bud tell his stories. He was a character! My prayers are with you, Lucy, and hope that you are staying close to all who love and care for you there. Come visit anytime you want a break from the heat. We miss you.

My Friend Willie
No one knew the torment,
that you were going through;
We only kept on seeing
What we really wanted to.

We saw the outward smile,
but not your inner pain;
We never really dreamt,
That you would never smile again.

Forgive us if we failed to see,
What we could do to aid;
Or if we failed to comprehend,
How much you were afraid.

We pray your mental anguish,
Will now forever cease;
And that your deep anxieties,
Will be replaced by peace.

We know your pain invaded,
Every single thought you had;
It made you cry internally,
And deeply, deeply sad.

But we in turn remember,
The good times, not the bad;
We remember when you smiled at us,
And not when you were sad.

So when we think about your life,
We won't dwell upon its close;
We'll remember all the good times,
And forget about life's blows.

We'll remember all the happiness,
The joy and not the tears;
The assurance and the confidence,
And not irrational fears.

Our lives have all been better,
Because you have been there;
So now we leave your memory,
In God's all-loving care.

Bud will be missed by all of us for his hospitality and generosity like sharing the cabin in pine and buying a pony for Danny and letting it live in Mesa with our family and even giving us money for feeding it. He was always thinking of others, especially Grandma Fuller.

We were so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. She was a coworker of and great friend to Louise Heath. Though her memory is failing, Louise still has many fond memories of Jean and spoke of her often. She asked us to express her sympathy to the family. We also enjoyed Jean when it was our good fortune to spend time with her. She had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. She will be missed.

Dear Greg,
   Sorry to find this on the net. I wish I would have gotten in contact with you sooner then I could have said good bye. I am really going to miss Ellen; my dear friend and I will miss our little letters we wrote back and forth to each other. I will never forget her or Herb and the fun times we had in Nutrioso. I also remember Ellen coming over and tutoring me and then going to see the little mermaid after I earned better grades. She was an awesome teacher.
  Sorry again for not getting in contact sooner. Take care Greg.
With Love,
Tony

It's such a tribute to your Mom that she raised such strong and loving children. I'm sure she received a warm welcoming embrace in Heaven from your Dad, Kathleen and Pat. You are in my thoughts and prayers every day. God bless.

Dear Family,

I extend my deepest sympathy in the passing of Ernest. I wish that I knew him before he passed, as I am also an Acadian descendent and related to the LeBlanc family.

My connection is:

My maternal great-grandparents are Eustache Pitre(Peters) and Mary Anna Forcier. Mary Anna is the daughter of Joseph Forcier and Philomene Eveline Leminau LeBlanc. I only know the first name of Philomene's mother, which is Edessa.

If anyone in the family is interested, I would love to share the information I have obtained, along with family photos and would be thrilled to fill in gaps that I have in our family tree.

Again, my deepest sympathy to all.

Regards,

Lynda Reithmann

Going to August the Deuce in Mountain and visiting at the Bjornson home will definitely not be the same without my dear cousin Lois. I have so many wonderful stories of this beautiful lady from when I was a little girl and she, my Mom's dear friend/cousin, who visited us alot in Fargo, ND. My heartfelt sympathies to you Gerald, the kids/families, Lois' siblings/families, and her many, many relatives and friends. God be with you at this time and in future days as we grieve our earthly loss.

Dear Eva Lou,

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I was so very glad to see you both in December and will cherish the last memories of Merle. You both have been so wonderful to me, and I appreciate your continued friendship. Merle always had a smile for me, even through my sad times. One of my favorite quotes, “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” (Leo Buscaglia)

In loving memory...Pam

Ruby will be missed by so many. I just wanted to let her family know that even though I am not able to be there to share my condolences. My heart is there with all of you in your time of suffering. She has lived a long time and has seen things that seemed impossible, her life had meaning and she had many friends who will miss her.
i loved him then, still do now, and always will. he is always in my thoughts of how great of a great grandpa he was. he yanked out one of my teeth and i didn't even know it until he showed it to me. i hear great stories about him and when my dad had gone camping up to Rock Creek with him and a few other boys in our famile and when the bear went through their camp, grandpa Clark ran into his truck leaving everyone else. there is so much more to this great man, but way too many to name and list. i love you and you are always in my thoughts!!

Ellen attended nearly all of our Genealogy Club meetings. She and I were often the only persons to go the the Mesa Regional Family History Center. We generally researched our own family lines, but on occasion I helped her since she had limited computer experience.

I didn't know of her art. She certainly was a well rounded person. It wsa a delight to have known her.

Wally was a great friend. For almost 20 years we were part of a cooking group with he and Karen. He also wrote the liner notes for two of my CDs. He taught me more about life, the University, learning, good wine, and great conversation than I can ever mention. I miss him already. He was always interested in life, learning, and living! We had dinner together as a group the Saturday night before he passed, and had a wonderful time. Thanks, Wally and Karen for being in our lives

Wally and Karen are great people. Wally's love of life was evident in every aspect of his life. I can still recall the constant twinkle in his eye at the mischief we used to create in the 'Strutters tour when he and Karen were the faculty advisors on one leg of the tour. He always took time to know what was going on in your life, even if huge chunks of time had passed. Our deepest sympathy and love to his family. His spirit truly lives on in so many of us who had the honor of sharing a portion of our lives with him.

It has been almost 5mtns. since my grma passed away I still think of her each and everyday. When I want to be close to her I put on music that reminds me of her and my fav pj's of hers and think of her laughing - with those special nostrils. She makes me happy when I think of her, but sad that she is not with us. I have many happy memories of my grma that keep her spirit alive and will never forget her. God bless our Grace Lorraine - we miss you. love you always, Shawnda

To Jerry's family,
Our deepest sympathy to you at this sad time. I myself only met Jerry once, but he seemed like a great man and Wiggy sure did think alot of him. Many of is stories of work included Jerry and the times they had there. He talked about him often and actually was asking about him the night he passed. You never know what life is going to throw at you, but it seems that everyone who knew Jerry thought alot of him and he was a wonderful person. Please hold your memories close to your heart.
Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time and god bless.
Tony "Wiggy" and Donnie Wielgopolan

Dear Barb, We are so sorry to hear about Jerry. You are in our thoughts and prayers. When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help you find your smile. I have been searching for you the past couple of years on the computer, but no luck. Would you believe we were in Apache Junction at the casino last March. We will be in Tucson this March. It would be nice to see you. Our deepest sympathy, Joe and Carol

Dear Joan's Family: Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate Joan's life. As you know, Joan and Cush were very special people and it has been a privilege to know them since April, 1970. I loved Joan's love of history, and it was always such a special treat visiting with her in her home. Love and prayers, Phil

My husband Giovanni worked with Ricky for a short time. We attended the memorial last night and even though I did not know him personally, I still shed some tears. He was obviously loved very much and will be missed greatly by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family that you will find peace and strength in the days ahead.

Mom I love you and miss you. I was so hard for me to see you suffer especially these last few weeks in the hospital. It gave me such a feeling of peace as we were able to put you into the Hospice House the last week of your life. You seemed so much more at peace and I was able to realize it was time for you to go back home to live with your Heavenly Father.
Thank You for giving me life and for bringing the Gospel into our lives, for these and so many more things I will be eternally grateful. Love, Teresa

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. There is a void that cannot be replace. The life insurance we buy is really preparation for death. But the life insurance Jehovah God offers is the destroying of death itself and all the things we can think of that causes it. He will do this through His Kingdom that His Son Jesus Christ is King of. We can gain comfort now through the Bible. And in the very near future we will hold our love ones again. We all will live happy healthy lives forever in exquisite delight and in an abundance of peace here on earth.

My sincere condolences to the family, as well as my praise and thanksgiving for a life most well lived. Growing up in the Wichita Westside congregation, we truly appreciated the tremendous work of the Shottons! They were one of the earliest influences to my awareness of missions abroad. May God's blessings abundantly surround you all at this time and in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of Dean's death. I worked with Dean at the IRS for many years and knew him well. I replaced him as a "Computer Audit Specialist" when he retired and it was Dean who inspired me to become a CAS. I knew of his passion for golf (since that was all he talked about) and his desire to play every course in America.

I was sorry to hear of Uncle Lloyd's passing; certainly he and Terry were a large part of my earliest years. In many ways I regret that we're spread so far over the country; concentrating on our own lives we tend to lose track of what's happening in our family. To Terry, Andy, and my other cousins, I hope the good memories will sustain you during this difficult time.

As historian for the 1938 Holmes High School, Covington, KY, class I noted in The Cincinnati Enquirer today the passing of one of our former classmates Margaret Scholl Grill. The death notice did not state an internment fact. Was burial to be in Mesa, or back in Cincinnati, or was cremation involved? Is any recent photograph of Margaret available? Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Sharon and Lisa,
I just heard this morning of Ron's passing. We are so sad and are thinking of you all. Seems only yesterday that he was delivering gas for Cardon and our kids were being watched by you guys. Ron will be missed by all, he was such a wonderful man. I am so sorry we can not be there but know that we are thinking of you all.

Dearest Nancy,
  I know how hard it is to loose one's parents and how alone you suddenly feel. Although Aunt Janet and I did not see each other often, she was my Godmother and I kept a very special place in my heart for her. I was the little flower girl at her wedding and always felt a special love for her. I too will miss knowing that she is there.
   I am glad that you are surrounded by family to help you through this unexpected time. I know she loved you more than anything. We now need to know that she is with her parents and brothers and sisters that have gone on ahead of her. She is at peace.
  Blessings and love,
  Bonnie

Ben is my stepdad, Although i never thought of him that way i considered him my second dad. Because he treated us just like his own kids. I (we) will truly miss him. I'm very gratefull that he came into our lives.

I remember great times staying over with my brother Keven at Uncle Ben's and Aunt Virginia's home. My mom (Mae) told us when we were little that if something ever happened to her and Dad, that she wanted us to go live with Ben and Virginia because she knew they would love us and take care of us.

Uncle Ben was such a loving uncle and he'll be missed. I will never forget the good times staying over at his house as a kid and playing with Janet and Mike. I don't really remember my Grandpa Charlesworth but I feel like I know him because of Uncle Ben and how he always treated his family.
Please accept our deepest sympathy and please know that our prayers are with you at this time. We also extend our love to you in this time of sorrow.

Corinne,
I am so sorry about your loss. Ben was a good man and I know that he will truely be missed. It is a blessing that he will be with his Heavenly Father in Heaven now. I know that Ryan loved him very much. He touch Kyle's life as well. Although he was not Kyle's real grandpa, he still called him Grandpa Charlesworth. My heart goes out to you and the family.
Much love,
Barb, Rick and Kyle

Bernyce, Bobby, steve, and John,
We are so sad to hear about the loss of a great man, your husband and father. I feel so fortunate to have had a week down in Arizona with Uncle Jim during my college years when I went there for spring break to visit he and Iva with my mom. To me Uncle Jim, was always soft spoken, but a man whose kindness and gentle spirit was always evident in his example. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We miss and love you all!

Dear Bernyce, Bobby, Steve and John-
We wanted to offer our deepest sympathy in the loss of your wonder husband and father. I know that he is surrounded by loving family members in heaven. I'm sure that they rolled out the red carpet to welcome him to a new life witout pain and suffering. May your faith bring you strength during this sorrowful time, and may happy memories bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
We are with you in spirit and sorry we could not be there to celebrate Uncle Jim's life. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all. God Bless You!

Dearest Betty and Mike,
Dorothy, Tyler, Zachary and I shower our thoughts, prayers and love to you at this most difficult time on the passing of our beloved Uncle Joe. We will greatly miss his presence here in this rheum with us as we continue to dwell on our journey here. Although we miss him here with us, we are thankful for the presence of where we know he is, standing tall and no longer hampered by the impediments our temporary earthly existence limits us by. He patiently awaits us in our time.
With Deep Love and Affection,
Randy, Dorothy, Tyler & Zachary Henning
